How it works
Prove who was on campus (and in class) with a three-phase day — online when you need it, local-only during rush.
2 · Morning entrance
Rush hour, local only: QR scan + face capture against the on-device roster. No network required at the gate.
3 · After rush
Back online: upload pending scans (face JPEGs ≤ 300 KB). Web dashboards, audit, and attendance reports update from synced data.

Face audit & exceptions
Review every scan with a captured face — device, timestamp, event type. Exception queue for face-verify failures and overrides with date-range filters.

Three attendance modes
QR — scan only · FACE — live face hold ~0.5s · QR+Face — QR first, then face verify. LOCAL ONLY default during entrance rush.
Class & subject marks
Teacher phone: section picker, then QR → CLASS_PRESENT / CLASS_LATE / CLASS_ABSENT. Subject attendance: SUBJECT_PRESENT / SUBJECT_LATE. Late threshold from school settings.
Offline resilience
Persistent local roster cache, event queue, and face files. Upload when online again. Multi-lane mode for parallel gate devices; optional scheduled auto-sync windows.
Face enrollment
Multi-pose capture (LEFT / FRONT / RIGHT) for on-device recognition packs when enabled — draft save and resume supported.
School-ready attendance reports
Reports refresh from synced attendance — no separate “publish” step.
Class attendance
Section + month export for class attendance records.

What is QuizaacQR?

Does the gate need internet during rush hour?
No. Phase 2 is local-only: QR lookup and face capture use the roster already downloaded to the phone. Upload happens after rush when the device is online again.
Is face recognition required to enter?
Modes include QR only, FACE only, or QR+Face. The current PoC stores face photos for audit (e.g. borrowed-ID disputes). Production-scale face matching as the primary gate method is deferred.
Who uses the web portal?
Role-based access for principal, registrar, teacher, guard, and support. Principals see their campus; support users can work across schools.
